Vanessa teaches each student on an individual basis based on their needs, helping each singer find their best vocal quality. Vocal teaching starts from a pedagogical perspective focusing on building technique, posture and alignment, breath, tone, resonance, projection, musicality, and more. Vanessa teaches classical and contemporary genres of music with a focus on musical theater and popular styles. She has been an Instructor of Voice on the faculty of Berklee College of Music and a participant of Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop.
